Welcome to American History Through Cinema
This is a one semester course exploring issues in American History through film. In order to take this class you must have taken American history. The class will explore themes such as race, war, sexuality, crime, gender and the role of government. The class is almost entirely a writing class. There is a text, handouts and required readings online.
