Beest Soccer Alumni > Alumni Game

The alumni soccer game has come to serve as a sort of informal SSFS autumn reunion; a place where the present guard can not only meet the heroes of yore, but also step on to the pitch with the great gentlemen-warriors of the past.

Held traditionally on the Friday following Thanksgiving Day, after more than three decades and a constantly widening history, the SSFS Alumni Soccer Game has grown steadily in popularity. To strengthen and further the relationships of Sandy Spring Friends School Alumni with each other as well as the school, and consequently preserve and honor the richness and longevity of this treasured and revered program, conscious efforts have been taken to unite the past and the present (see chart below).

The SSFS Alumni Soccer Game is not just for player participants; it serves as a venue for all to gather, connect and reconnect. Whether the intent is to relive those glory years or simply cheer aloud, all are welcome to partake in this marvelously joyous and celebratory community annual event!
