Precalculus

This course is designed to prepare students for the study of calculus and will focus on functions and their transformations, studying polynomial, rational, exponential, and trigonometric functions and their applications. Also covered are explorations and proofs of trigonometric identities as well as complex numbers. If time permits, additional topics may include sequences and series, probability, and matrices.

Multivariable Calculus

This course is designed to build upon the material learned in Calculus AB and prepare students to take the Advanced Placement Calculus BC exam in the spring. Students will complete the AP Calculus BC curriculum studying techniques of integration, indeterminate forms, improper integrals, infinite series, parametric equations, polar coordinates, and their applications. Students will be encouraged to improve their abilities to problem solve and think independently.
