Ceramics

Students will be introduced to all the skills involved in the clay studio. Working on their own level, students will have the opportunity to develop their own technical and creative skills in Ceramics.

Students are expected to follow a list of assigned projects and complete one each week.

Evaluation: 
The grade in this course is on participation, effort, and progress made towards producing finished quality projects.
1. Minimum of 8 finished projects (80%)


Skills - working knowledge of the camera, shoot film, develop film, printing, and  mounting finished prints
A. Craftsmanship (25%)
B. Design (25%)
C. Originality (25%)
D. Personal growth (25%)

2. Class participation (20%)
Co-operation – follow directions, positive attitude, help where needed.
Work habits – being prepared for class, on task, caring for class room
Timeliness – prompt and consistent

Attendance:
All students are expected to attend class and participate fully.
