Kindergarten Current Class Highlights

This year the Kindergarten classes will frequently have the opportunity to come to the art barn to explore painting, collage, printing, gluing, cutting, stamping and blending, along with numerous other activities. They will be working with clay and we will be making many murals from their colorful and unique art works.
Handprint Turkey and Fall Colored Leaves

After talking about the symbolism and representation of colors, a fall palette helped provide the color for autumn leaves and a happy paper turkey.

Honey Bees

In conjunction with their classroom study of bees, the K's used sponges, glue, paper and paint to create honey bees zeroing into the nectar hiding within pretty flowers.

Clay Explorations

The K's had fun squishing, poking, pushing, squeezing, pulling and writing in clay as they explored all of its wonderful characteristics.
