YEARBOOK, 2007-2008

Students will learn the basics of page layout and design and apply these skills in the creation of the school's yearbook and spring supplement. Along with the Josten's YearTech plugins, we will be using Adobe's InDesign CS2 to create our pages. We will also be using Photoshop CS2 to digitally enhance electronic photos and images that will be placed on the pages. We will cover design, typography, and layout skills, as well as digital photography and optimizing high-resolution images for print publication. Students must have the maturity to work independently and responsibly.

2007-2008 Deadlines:

Please note that these are the PLANT deadlines. We should plan to have our pages completed a week and half BEFORE the deadlines listed below so that we will have a week to proofread and edit pages, and then allow 3 days mail delivery time.

November 12, 2007 - Deadline 1
December 17, 2007 - Deadline 2
February 4, 2008 - Deadline 3
March 3, 2008 - Final Deadline
